Are these replicas or dupes of designer items?

Accepted Answer

No. Every listing is an independent product from our catalogue. We never surface counterfeits, replicas or items carrying another brand's logo, and we never claim an alternative is identical to a designer product.

How is the similarity score calculated?

It is a weighted comparison of style attributes: category 30%, colour 20%, silhouette 15%, material 12%, pattern 8% and style tags 15%. Each product page shows the exact points each facet contributed.

Question 3

Is the AI certain about the tags?

Accepted Answer

No — and that's why you can edit them. The current build uses a deterministic heuristic, not a trained vision model, and the confidence figure is an estimate, not model certainty.

Question 4

Are prices live?

Accepted Answer

No. All prices, availability and retailers in this build are clearly labelled demo data. Real feeds would be ingested through the retailer adapters described in the README.

Question 5

Does sponsorship affect ranking?

Accepted Answer

Never. Sponsored placements are labelled and are ranked by exactly the same formula as everything else. Sponsorship is not an input to the score.

Question 6

Do you earn commission on my clicks?

Accepted Answer

Not in this build. Outbound links use demo affiliate templates so the tracking architecture can be tested. If affiliate programmes are activated later, it will be disclosed on the Affiliate Disclosure page.

Where are my favourites and history stored?

Accepted Answer

On your device, in local storage. The data model is account-ready, so the same lists can sync to a profile once accounts are enabled.
